InvestCorp, a premiere investment banking and asset management firm, last week donated chairs to the Achimota Golf Academy (AGA) as a gesture of support towards the Academy’s efforts to promote healthy living and the game of golf in Ghana.

Mr. Lloyd Kusi, a member of management of the Youth Academy was present to accept the chairs on behalf of the AGA and expressed his extreme gratitude for the donation. He stated that key partnerships with companies like InvestCorp, which appreciate the benefits of golf, would significantly impact the growth of the game in the country. He also shared plans to further rehabilitate the driving range to improve the services offered to members and guests alike.

The InvestCorp team was also welcomed by members of the Academy, a group of talented children who were training under the sponsorship of the Achimota Golf Club (AGC). While interacting with them, Solomon Adatsi, Assistant Vice President – Fund Management and Operations at InvestCorp stated:

We are pleased to assist in uplifting the youth of this great nation. Golf is a game that teaches principles such as discipline, precision, hard work and integrity; principles that are in-line with InvestCorp’s core values of Innovation, Integrity and leadership. It is therefore our hope that these chairs will prove beneficial and help in the advancement of the Academy’s mandate.
